最新研究:远离这些加工红肉!越吃越痴呆…

美国一项最新研究显示,“食用加工红肉”与“罹患痴呆症”之间存在联系,而减少这一风险的办法也很简单,那就是用“坚果或豆类”替代“热狗或培根”。

为评估两者之间的联系,研究者在美国阿尔茨海默氏症协会的帮助下,统计了13万多人在43年间的饮食习惯。近日,研究者终于得出结论,发布报告。

首先,在这群志愿接受调查的13万多人中,最终有11,173人罹患痴呆症。

研究人员研究了他们食用某些食物的频率,包括被称为“加工红肉”的“培根、热狗、香肠和腊肠”,还有被视为“健康食品”的“坚果、豆类、豆腐及大豆蛋白”。

研究结果显示:

· 与“每月食用少于三份加工红肉的人”相比,“每周食用大约两份加工红肉的人”患上痴呆症的风险会增加14%。

· 每天每增加食用一份加工红肉,就会增加1.6年的认知衰老。

· 每天用一份“坚果/豆类/豌豆/豆腐”替代一份“加工红肉”,就可以降低20%的痴呆风险。

波士顿布莱根妇女医院研究助理、该项研究的主要作者Yuhan Li在一份声明中表示,“对于痴呆症而言,加工红肉会影响大脑,因为它含有高水平的有害物质,比如亚硝酸盐(防腐剂)和钠。“

“除痴呆症外,加工红肉也被证明会增加罹患癌症、心脏病和糖尿病的风险。”
