房东捅死3名欠租房客！华人痛斥：房东不对，但类似悲剧将越来越多

 

​14日上午，美国纽约皇后区发生一起房东房客纠纷悲剧，疑因租金被拖欠，一名54岁的房东用刀捅死3名租客。涉案房东已被捕，尚未确定指控，案件正在调查中。

房东自首：我做了不好的事

警方称，涉案房东于当日早上前往警局自首，称“我做了不好的事”。警察根据他提供的住址，于7点15分左右赶到位于皇后区东南部St. Albans的Milburn Street 122-39号住宅，发现已经死亡的两名女性和一名男性。三人身上均有明显刀伤。
警方表示，“案件发生时，家中只有成人，没有孩子。一名女子在二层被发现。另外两人在地下室的卧室内被发现。一名51岁女子脸朝下倒在床上。”
“3人身份有待确认。案件起因可能是‘租金拖欠纠纷’。目前还不清楚受害者是否是在睡梦中被捅。尚未发现作案凶器。”
“该独栋建筑维护良好，地下室装修完好。邻居表示，房东和房客都很有礼貌，但不怎么和外人打交道。”
涉案房东目前已被关押在皇后区113市警分局，尚未确定指控，尚未指定律师。警方呼吁对上述案件知情的民众提供线索。
陈先生：都是政府的错
就此，媒体采访了此前也曾遭遇“租霸”的华人房东陈先生。
陈先生表示，“一味保护租客势必会加剧社会矛盾”。他呼吁一个更加公平的政府上台执政。
“房东杀人的行为当然不合理、不合法，但租霸把房东逼到走投无路也是事实……房东也有一家子要养，有的房客不仅不给租金，还破坏房屋，这一切都让房东无法承受，继而失去理智。”
“虽然房屋法庭会处理类似案件，但他们明显过度偏袒房客……80-90%的案件都是‘和解’了事……最后无论是给房客‘时间’让他走，还是出‘钱’让他走，损失都是房东的……”
陈先生说，这样的悲剧有可能会越来越多，因为“房东都被逼得走投无路了，这归根结底都是政府的错”。
