“我女儿喜欢吃鹅肉,我抓只野鹅炖汤吃,有什么错?”

 

近日,洛杉矶有一名华人女子,在当地公园抓大鹅……引得西人纷纷侧目,而当有华人站出来制止该华女的行为时,该女子却振振有词,“我女儿喜欢吃鹅肉,我抓只野鹅炖汤吃,有什么错?”
爆料此事的律师刘龙珠表示,这名华人的行为已严重触犯法律。

刘龙珠没有透露该名华人的“最终结局”,但表示:“这些人大多属于无知者无畏……很多刚来美国的华人会认为,抓个野鸭子、麻雀根本不算什么事——在他们的认知里,野生动物不是家养的,没有主人,因此,‘抓捕’不算‘偷盗’。”


“在他们的眼中,野生的好吃还不用花钱买,何乐而不为……此外,还有部分华人认为,抓到野生动物是自己某种能力的表现……”
刘龙珠表示,事实上,在美国抓捕野生动物是触犯法律的行为,而且后果非常严重,不仅面临巨额罚款,还要坐牢服刑。

类似事件也曾发生在加拿大。
“渥太华Goose Li小姐事件”一度轰动北美华人圈。移居加拿大近10年的资深媒体人“小S虫虫”曾发表文章讲述事件过程。
“小S虫虫”写道,当时,她在加拿大首都渥太华上大学,有个被人叫作““Goose Li”的中国学姐特别有名,就连好多本地同学都知道。
为什么叫“Goose Li”,“大鹅李”?此名是因何而得呢?
据了解,有一天,这位学姐正在上课,两个警察敲门而入,跟教授谈了几句后就把这位学姐“请”了出去。学姐一脸蒙圈,教室里一下子就炸了……
原来是她那过来探亲的老父,在渥太华公园湖边里抓走了一只野生加拿大鹅,被目击者举报。
警察接报后立刻按图索骥,上门调查……而那位老人家,当时正撸胳膊挽袖子褪鹅毛呢。人赃并获。更惨的是,老人家不懂英语,自然“拒不认错”,结果被警察掏枪制服,手铐拷走。
最终的处理结果是“罚款$5000加元”。此外,那位学姐作为担保人,也被留下了不良记录。“Goose Li”正是因此得名。
总结一下,无论美国还是加拿大,野生动物“只许看但不去摸”,“可以拍照但不许惊吓”,总之,规矩多多,惩罚严格,切记切记。
