有专家表示,人们只要“善用枕头”,便可轻松给健康带来多种好处。

 

美国国家医学图书馆(National Library of Medicine)的资料显示,背痛是成年人常见的疾病。有研究发现,世界上有23%的成年人有长期下背痛(low back pain,又称腰痛)的问题,使人难以入睡。

 

英国寝具零售商“快乐的床”(Happy Beds)的睡眠专家说,当人们在睡觉时,背部的肌肉会开始放松并慢慢恢复健康,所以保持良好的睡觉姿势相当重要。如果睡姿不正确,脊椎会承受压力,使健康受损。

尽管人们在睡觉时通常都把枕头垫在头部下方,但如果能把额外的枕头放在两腿或两膝盖之间,那会有减少背痛、预防肌肉痉挛和促进血液循环等多种益处。

专家说,很多人有下背痛的问题,所以很难找到舒适的睡姿。有肌肉痉挛、经痛、静脉曲张和坐骨神经痛的人经常觉得睡觉很令人苦恼。而把枕头放在两腿或两膝盖之间可以缓解下背和臀部的压力,减少下背的肿胀,让人们睡个好觉。

专家提到,当你的臀部转动时,它们会让你的脊椎不排成直线,这在白天会自然发生。但在晚上睡觉时,你应该尽可能地确保你的脊椎排成直线,以避免隔天早上出现疼痛。

当你侧睡时,在两膝盖之间放个枕头能确保你的腿与骨盆保持相同高度。在你的脊椎排成直线的情况下,神经所承受的压力会释放出来,让疼痛的情况大幅改善。

此外,对于难以睡得舒适的孕妇而言,在两腿之间放个枕头也能改善她们的睡眠。

专家说,如果你早上醒来有手脚发麻、两腿麻木、抽筋或脚趾头附近出现刺痛感的情况,那可能是睡觉时血液循环不良造成的。这可能是“腔静脉”(携带血液到心脏和背部的主要静脉之一)受压所致,在两腿之间放个枕头就能促进血液循环。
