秋日赏枫……等一下,“摘苹果”才是秋初最恰当的活动!今天咱们先研究一下,蒙特利尔周边的11种主要大苹果……

 

 

蒙特利尔周边果园一般于8月中到10月底开放,由于苹果的各品种成熟时间不同,早至7月,晚至11月的也有。

一般来说,如下这11个“大苹果”将在8至10月间陆续成熟,大家可根据自己的口味,按照收获时间,制定采摘计划。

 

8月中成熟

 

Melba,红中带黄,甜中带酸,是做果汁或果酱的好材料,储存期2-3周;

 

Jersey Mac,深红,甜,微酸,多用于烹饪,储存期6周;

 

9月初成熟

 

Paula Red,红色,味甜汁多,既可生食又可用于甜点的制作,储存期2个月;

 

Lobo,桃红色,甜,多用于烹饪,储存期2-3个月;

 

9月中成熟

 

Mclntosh,红色,甜中带酸,适合生食,储存期可达3个月,口感始终如一;

 

9月底成熟

 

Gala,条纹状红黄色,又香又甜,可生食,可烹饪,储存期3个月;

 

HoneyCrisp,黄红相透,果甜多汁,微酸,口感独特而美味,怎么吃都好吃,储存期达6个月;

 

Spartan,酱红透黄,非常甜并带有梨子的味道,果冻和果泥的最佳原料,储存期4-5个月;

 

Golden Russet,金黄色渐变至褐绿,最后至青铜色,看上去很糟,但足够甜,主要用来制作苹果汁,储存期6个月;

 

10月初成熟

 

Cortland,纯红色,非常甜,略带微酸,主要用于沙拉和制作苹果派,存期4个月;

 

Empire,深红色,香甜至尊,存期5-6个月,是“最苹果”的苹果。
